Jim Parsons, known for his role as Sheldon Cooper in "The Big Bang Theory," recently reacted to the fan buzz around casting Michael Keaton as an older Sheldon in a potential spinoff. During his appearance on "The Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon, Parsons was shown a side-by-side comparison of a young Michael Keaton and Iain Armitage, who plays young Sheldon in the prequel series "Young Sheldon".
Parsons found the resemblance between young Keaton and Armitage amusing and agreed that there was a similarity. “It is interesting. There’s definitely a resemblance,” he noted, adding, “The one thing I will say is Michael Keaton — that really looks like Michael Keaton still, doesn’t it?” When Fallon suggested an "Older Sheldon" spinoff with Keaton, Parsons quickly dismissed the idea but expressed his excitement about the possibility.
