Kim Kardashian has admitted that her instincts warned her not to marry NBA player Kris Humphries, even before they exchanged vows. Speaking with journalist Jonathan Van Meter for his book *Citizen Kim: The Woman Who Created the Future*, the 46-year-old SKIMS founder described the uneasiness she once dismissed as ordinary pre-wedding anxiety.

“I just thought, ‘Well, it’s cold feet,’” she explained. Yet beneath the pressure and excitement, Kardashian already believed the relationship was finished. “But your gut, your soul, is always right,” she reflected. Having previously been married to Damon Thomas, she understood the seriousness of marriage, but the cameras surrounding her wedding made retreat feel nearly impossible.
