Kim Kardashian has admitted that she sensed Kris Humphries was not the right partner before they exchanged vows. Kardashian, 46, married the former NBA player, 41, on August 20, 2011, but filed for divorce only 72 days later, on October 31. In journalist Jonathan Van Meter’s biography *Citizen Kim: The Woman Who Created the Future*, she says she “knew it before we were married in my soul,” according to Just Jared.

Rather than trusting that instinct, however, she tried to explain her uneasiness as ordinary pre-wedding anxiety. “I just thought, ‘Well, it’s cold feet,’” she recalled. “But your gut, your soul, is always right.” Her hesitation became tangled with the enormous public expectations surrounding the ceremony.
