Soap opera fans were surprised — but also thrilled — to see Stacy Haiduk suddenly reappear on The Young and the Restless. In a dramatic moment at the end of a recent episode, her longtime character Patty Williams resurfaced once again, this time claiming she has been rehabilitated and is ready to live as a normal member of society.
For viewers of Days of Our Lives, however, the news raised an immediate question: does this mean Haiduk is leaving Salem behind?
The answer, at least for now, is more complicated than a simple exit.
