Days Of Our Lives, the long-running daytime drama streaming on NBCUniversal's Peacock platform, is on an unplanned hiatus. Production has been suspended for at least one week following a misconduct investigation into co-executive producer/director Albert Alarr.

The investigation uncovered accusations of inappropriate comments and physical contact, leading to a toxic work environment. Despite receiving a written warning and training, Alarr remained in his roles, sparking outrage among the cast and crew.

The hiatus allows all parties involved to further examine the situation.
