The world was recently plunged into grief as Jane Marczewski, known to the world as the inspiring singer Nightbirde, passed away on February 19th after a four-year battle with cancer. She was just 31 years old. While her life took her across the United States, from Nashville to California, it was her connection to her hometown in Ohio that brought hundreds of fans and friends together at Cornerstone Church in Heath to celebrate her life and legacy.ADVERTISEMENT
A Celebration of a Life Well-Lived
The service, held on February 24th, was a testament to the impact Nightbirde had on those who knew her. The church lobby was decorated with photos of Jane's infectious smile, and programs featuring a black and white photo of her were printed with an original poem titled "Hero in Flames" that she had written.
