Blue Bloods returned to CBS in 2019 to air its landmark tenth season. Over the course of the show's many seasons, viewers have seen the Reagan family go through many personal losses like the murder of Frank's middle son Joe prior to the series premiere or the offscreen death of Danny's wife Linda between seasons.

It's safe to say being a part of the Reagan family comes with its share of heartbreak, but the Blue Bloods season 9 finale was a far more upbeat and positive milestone that welcomed a new member of the Reagan clan rather than saying goodbye to one.
