Artist Sonnyfive shared an Instagram post depicting Max being overtaken by Vecna's tendrils and her face partially transforming into the villain played by Jamie Campbell Bower.

While there is no official information about Max's fate in season 5, Sadie Sink was spotted in a cast photo, indicating her return in some capacity. Fans hope that Max's storyline will have a less grim outcome than depicted in the artwork.
