Gaten Matarazzo's Stranger Things Season 5 Pitch Is Exactly What The Show Needs

Stranger Things is heading towards its final season, and Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin in the series, has an idea for what season 5 should be like. He believes that the show needs higher stakes and that more characters should be killed off. Matarazzo thinks that the main characters have been too safe throughout the series and that the show should take risks by eliminating some of them.

While Stranger Things has killed off a few characters, they have mostly been new additions to the show. Matarazzo argues that it would be more satisfying if any of the main characters could die at any moment. Stranger Things season 4 hinted at higher stakes with Max's attack, but the final season should take it a step further.
