Rise to Stardom: The Journey of Olsen Twins in 'Full House'
Full House, an iconic family sitcom, first graced our televisions from 1987 to 1995. Anchored by widowed father Danny Tanner (Bob Saget), with the help of his brother-in-law Jesse Katsopolis (John Stamos), and childhood best friend Joey Gladstone (Dave Coulier), the show illuminated the lives of the Tanner family.
The grand twist was the character of Michelle, the youngest of the Tanner brood, played alternately by twin sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Interestingly, to keep this magic under wraps, and comply with child labor laws, the girls were jointly credited as "Mary Kate Ashley Olsen", leaving many none the wiser.
