Bourbon-soaked cherries are a versatile and easy-to-make treat that can be used in various ways. They can be enjoyed on their own or used as a garnish in cocktails, such as Manhattans and Old Fashioneds. Ina Garten suggests using them in whiskey sours. They can also be added to sangria or used in non-whiskey-based drinks like the French 75.

Apart from drinks, bourbon-soaked cherries can be enjoyed as a snack, dipped in chocolate, or used as a topping for desserts like ice cream, cheesecake, and panna cotta. They can also be baked into cookies, cakes, and breads. Additionally, they can be served with breakfast dishes, used in savory recipes like grilled chicken, or added to charcuterie boards.

They also make great gifts.
