The season finale of The Crown was split into two parts, with Part 1 focusing solely on Princess Diana, played by Elizabeth Debicki, and her final months leading up to her tragic car crash in 1997.

While the depiction of the accident was mostly accurate, the final episode of Part 1, titled "Aftermath," included scenes featuring Diana's "ghost." Speaking in an interview with GQ, West shared, "Well, I don't know if we call it a ghost.
