What Really Happened? Dolly Parton Estate Suddenly Drops Case Against Nephew Bryan Seaver

Dolly Parton’s estate-related company, She’s Alive, LLC, has voluntarily dismissed its lawsuit against Bryan Seaver, Parton’s nephew and former head of security. Filed in Tennessee Chancery Court on Nov. 5, the dismissal was “without prejudice,” meaning the case could still be brought again.

The move came after weeks of tension between Seaver and the company, which is operated by Parton’s longtime manager, Danny Nozell.

## Accusations and Denials

She’s Alive had accused Seaver, who worked in security for more than 20 years before being fired in September, of making extortion-related threats and invoking his military background.
