Outlander season seven saw a character’s life in danger with filming of the death-defying scene shot twice.

As a soldier in the British Army, in the episode The Most Uncomfortable Woman, William is summoned to meet his commanding officer Captain Ezekiel Richardson (Chris Fulton).

He is told to deliver three messages to three men in Dismal Town, deep in the Great Dismal Swamp on the North Carolina and Virginia border.
