Amy Carlson played Linda Reagan in "Blue Bloods" for over 150 episodes. Linda was Danny Reagan's wife and was known for her loving nature towards her family and her work as a nurse. Two of Carlson's favorite moments on the show were when her character connected with Danny on a deeper level in Season 2's "The Job" and Season 6's "Help Me, Help You.

" Since leaving the show in Season 7, Carlson has appeared in other TV shows like "The Village," "The Society," and "FBI: Most Wanted," as well as movies such as "The Incoherents" and "Know Fear." The Reagan family in "Blue Bloods" stems from Henry Reagan, who was a police commissioner, and includes his son Frank, who is also a widower and a police commissioner; his children Danny, Erin, Joe, and Jamie; and several grandchildren.

The family has a history with tragedy, including the death of Frank's wife, Mary, and their son, Joe.
