When The Walking Dead premiered in 2010, viewers were introduced to a gritty world overrun by zombies, where the true monsters often turned out to be the living. Among the ensemble cast, a character named Daryl Dixon, portrayed by Norman Reedus, emerged from the background to steal the spotlight.
