On May 31, GH star Kate Mansi, who plays the vibrant and fiery Kristina Davis, pulled off the ultimate surprise: a decoy engagement party that turned into her actual wedding.

Yep. In true soap fashion, guests thought they were coming to toast the bride-to-be — only to find themselves in the middle of a secret garden wedding straight out of a rom-com. I didn’t attend (sadly!), but as soon as the news broke, I devoured every detail — and as a fan of both GH and Kate’s Emmy-winning turn as Abigail on Days of Our Lives, I had to write about it.
