Camila Banus bids farewell to 'Days of Our Lives' after 13-year run on the show

Camila Banus, the Emmy-nominated actress known for her role in Days of Our Lives, is leaving the long-running soap opera after 13 years. Banus confirmed her departure in an interview with The Wrap, citing her desire to start a family with her husband. She mentioned that there have been several changes on the show in recent years, including its move to the streaming service Peacock.

Banus expressed her gratitude for her time on the show and expressed excitement for new opportunities, particularly in film. Despite attempting to negotiate a new contract for more time off, she ultimately decided to leave the show.
