Stella and her husband, Lt. Kelly Severide, took in Isaiah after his mother, Shawna, was rendered comatose following a serious car accident.
The pressure mounts when Stella visits Shawna at the hospital and realizes Isaiah’s fears may be valid: staff and resources are lacking, and the facility might not be equipped for long-term care and rehabilitation.
