Nightbirde, a cancer-stricken singer, returned to America's Got Talent to thank the judges and viewers for their support after dropping out of the competition. Her audition song, "Ok," had been seen more than 200 million times and had a significant impact on people.

Though she hadn't competed, Simon Cowell said she had already won and sent her love and prayers for her health and recovery.

Meanwhile, five acts went through to the semifinals, including 1aChord, comedian Gina Brillon, illusionist Dustin Tavella, and stand-up comedian Kabeezy.

Singer Madilyn Bailey claimed the last spot based on viewer voting after the judges tied.
