England flanker makes 'extremely tough decision' amid links to French side

Northampton Saints have confirmed that England flanker Lewis Ludlam will be leaving the club at the end of the 2023/24 season. Ludlam, who represented England in the 2023 Rugby World Cup, was not included in the Six Nations squad amid reports of his potential move to French club Toulon.

After spending eight seasons with Northampton, Ludlam has made the decision to pursue a move away from the club. Although his next destination has not been officially confirmed, he is rumored to be joining Toulon, which would make him ineligible to represent England.
