Law and Order SVU returned after a month-long break with an episode titled "The Presence of Absence." However, some viewers were left disappointed, despite the episode raising awareness about dating apps. The plot revolved around a young widow who becomes a victim of sexual assault after joining a dating app, and the detectives investigate the case.
