Former "Blue Bloods" star Amy Carlson has been keeping busy since her departure from the show. She has been active in independent films, starring in movies such as "A Bread Factory, Part One," "The Incoherents," and "Sunny Daze." Carlson also appeared in two lesser-known television series, "The Village" and "The Society.

" In 2020, she achieved her longtime goal of writing and directing the critically-acclaimed short film, "The Letter." She recently starred in the supernatural thriller, "Know Fear," and remains involved in the music industry and various charities.

Despite her controversial exit from "Blue Bloods," Carlson has continued to pursue a variety of projects.
