Outlander star Sam Heughan has said he is "so proud" of Scotland's football team and their supporters.
The Scottish men's national team recently secured a 1-0 victory against Haiti in their first World Cup game in 28 years, sparking celebrations at home and abroad.
Mr Heughan, 46, said: "I'm so proud, actually, of the Scottish team, but also the fans.

"It looks like, from the outside, that Boston has welcomed them and they've brought so much joy and positivity to the tournament, which didn't start, I think, particularly well in terms of its politics.
