Outlander's Caitriona Balfe forced to defend missing premiere as fans call her 'shameful'!？

The time-bending series Outlander held its very first red carpet premiere in London ahead of the season six premiere on Starz March 6, which was a first for the hugely successful series.

Some of the show's loyal and vocal fans were disappointed to find out that leading lady Caitriona Balfe couldn't attend the much-anticipated event in-person, due to scheduling conflicts and becoming a first-time mom.

Balfe and her longtime on-screen love Sam Heughan, otherwise known as Claire and Jamie Fraser, joined the rest of the the main cast and producers, for the season six premiere event in Los Angeles, which included a stage panel and Q-and-A with some of those ardent Outlander fans.
