Scarlett Johansson’s Directorial Debut ‘Eleanor the Great’ Sets Cast: June Squibb, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Jessica Hecht!

Scarlett Johansson is directing her debut film, "Eleanor the Great," featuring June Squibb, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Jessica Hecht, and Erin Kellyman. Squibb stars as Eleanor Morgenstein, a 90-year-old woman rebuilding her life in New York after losing her best friend. TriStar Pictures and Sony Pictures Classics will release the movie, previously titled "Eleanor, Invisible." Squibb, known for "Nebraska" and "Palm Springs," leads the cast, with Ejiofor and Kellyman, who starred in "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier."

Hecht, Johansson's former Broadway co-star, rounds out the ensemble. The film is produced by Johansson's These Pictures, with contributions from Wayfarer Studios and Content Engineers.
