Outlander's Sam Heughan on 'painful' new role with Priyanka Chopra

Sam Heughan, known for his role as Jamie Fraser in Outlander, took a break from the series to star in the romantic film Love Again during the COVID-19 lockdown. The movie follows the story of Mira Ray, who sends messages to her late fiancé's phone without realizing it has been reassigned to journalist Rob Burns.

Despite their grief, the characters find love and learn to live again. Heughan was drawn to the well-written script and the opportunity to portray a different type of character. Outlander season seven will premiere in June, featuring more time travel and adventure.
