The latest instalment of Starz series Outlander saw Stephen Bonnet (played by Ed Speelers) kidnap Brianna Fraser (Sophie Skelton) and reveal his plan to start a family with their son Jemmy at River Run.

When Brianna refused to comply, Bonnet decided to try and sell her but fortunately, his plan failed and he was caught by Roger MacKenzie (Richard Rankin). Bonnet was then set to be killed by drowning to pay for his crimes but Brianna shot him in the head in a mercy killing.
