Making caramel-dipped apples is a simple and enjoyable fall tradition. Using purchased soft caramel candies, you can melt them in the microwave, on the stovetop, or in a slow cooker. Adding a small amount of liquid, such as water, milk, or cream, helps achieve a smooth and dippable consistency.

Be cautious not to add too much liquid, as this can make the caramel too thin. The melting process can be done in short bursts in the microwave, on low heat on the stovetop, or by using a slow cooker as a water bath. Once melted, the apples can be dipped and topped with various ingredients like chopped nuts, chocolate, or coconut flakes.

So go ahead and enjoy this delightful autumn treat!
