For years, The Big Bang Theory universe has played it pretty safe. Even when the jokes got nerdy and the science got dense, the shows themselves stayed grounded: one timeline, one set of choices, one familiar path from young Sheldon in Texas to grown-up Sheldon in Pasadena.
That changes now.
In 2025, Warner Bros. Discovery and Max officially ordered a new spinoff with a premise that sounds like something straight out of the guys’ beloved comic books. The series, titled Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, will follow comic book store owner Stuart Bloom after he accidentally triggers a multiverse Armageddon using a device built by Sheldon and Leonard.
