Let’s be real—when I think of Young Sheldon, sure, Sheldon’s quirks and Missy’s sass pop into my head. But it’s Meemaw—played to absolute perfection by Annie Potts—who brings the warmth, the wit, and the emotional weight to the Coopers’ world.
Which is exactly why my heart skipped a beat when rumors began swirling that Potts might step back from the franchise’s new spin-off Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.
I mean, could you imagine Young Sheldon—or any extension of it—without Meemaw? I sure can’t.
