Get ready for a blast from the past, "NCIS" fans! A brand-new set photo from the highly-anticipated prequel series, "NCIS: Origins," gives us our first look at a young Mike Franks – and the resemblance to the original is uncanny.
A Familiar Face, Decades Younger
Actor Kyle Schmid is stepping into the shoes (and signature Stetson) of a young Mike Franks, the gruff but beloved mentor to Mark Harmon's Leroy Jethro Gibbs. And judging from the set photo, shared on Instagram by "NCIS: Origins" star Mariel Molino, Schmid is a dead ringer for a young Muse Watson, who played Franks in the flagship series.
