During the filming of the Netflix series "Wednesday," actress Jenna Ortega formed a strong bond with her co-star, Emma Myers. Ortega revealed on the podcast "Armchair Expert With Dax Shepard" that she felt extremely protective of Myers and constantly thought about her well-being.

Ortega, who plays the titular character Wednesday Addams, explained that she and Myers developed a natural and comfortable friendship while shooting the show in Romania. Feeling isolated from her friends and family back home, Ortega relied on her fellow cast members for support.
