Sliced apples serve as the base and are topped with date caramel, dried cranberries, cacao nibs, and granola. The recipe is customizable, allowing for the addition of savory toppings like prosciutto, nuts, and cheese.

For a sweeter variation, hot fudge sauce or strawberry sauce can replace the date caramel. Other sweet toppings can include chocolate chips, sprinkles, or M&Ms. Different granola flavors and dried fruits can also be used.
