Raegan Revord, the actress who plays Missy in Young Sheldon, recently shared why her character won't be appearing in the upcoming spinoff focusing on Georgie and Mandy. Even though Sheldon's story in Texas is wrapping up, the Coopers' tale in the state will continue with a new show ordered by CBS.

The spinoff will feature less familiar characters but is expected to be a part of The Big Bang Theory prequel universe. Revord revealed she wasn't asked to join the project, deviating from the canon, which mandates Missy's involvement.
