In the 1960s, NASA funded an ambitious project aimed at improving communication between humans and dolphins. Margaret Howe Lovatt, a passionate animal lover with little scientific experience, joined forces with neuroscientist John Lilly to make it happen.
Lovatt spent three months living with Peter, a young dolphin, inside a special water-filled "Dolphinarium" in the Caribbean.
