Why Luke Grimes’ “Cheating” Comment Says Everything About Where Kayce Still Is After Monica

For a lot of viewers, Monica’s death on Marshals still doesn’t feel like something the story has emotionally moved past. And judging by Luke Grimes’ own reaction, that feeling isn’t just coming from fans.

It’s coming from the actor too.

In a recent interview, Grimes said that if Kayce started dating too quickly, it would feel wrong to him on a very personal level. He didn’t use soft language, either. He said filming Kayce kissing someone else would feel “like I was cheating,” because Monica was “his whole heart.
