Dutton Ranch’s Most Dangerous New Variable May Not Be Beth at All

When Dutton Ranch was first announced, the obvious focus was Beth and Rip. Of course it was. They are one of the Yellowstone universe’s most combustible couples, and any new chapter centered on them was always going to sell itself on old chemistry, old wounds, and the promise of a fresh battlefield.

But the more interesting — and possibly more dangerous — story may be sitting somewhere else entirely. If Beth and Rip are the familiar fire, Ed Harris and Annette Bening may be the real new threat: the faces of a different power structure, a different social order, and a different kind of opponent.
