New Zealand Rugby (NZR) has confirmed that All Blacks head coach Scott Robertson has been relieved of his duties just two years into a four-year contract, following an extensive review of the 2025 season.
Robertson took over the role from Ian Foster after the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France, but NZR has now decided that a change in leadership is required as the team approaches the latter half of the current World Cup cycle.
The review was led by NZR chairman David Kirk, alongside former All Blacks hooker and NZR board member Keven Mealamu, as well as former NZR high-performance manager Don Tricker.
