The Hessdalen Lights Have Been Photographed for 40 Years — Scientists Still Cannot Agree on What They Are
The Hessdalen valley in central Norway has been producing unexplained lights since at least the early 1980s, when sightings became frequent enough that a local reporting network was established.
The lights are not subtle. They are bright — sometimes bright enough to illuminate the surrounding hillside. They appear in various colors: white, yellow, red.
