Aaron Paul was born in 1979 in rural Emmett, Idaho — the youngest of five children. After high school he moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. Early in his career he worked odd jobs (even as a theater usher) and took various guest roles, commercials, and small parts.
For years he faced repeated disappointments — several failed pilots, little financial stability, and no breakthrough. Yet he held on. That perseverance set the stage for the audition that would change everything.
