Retired Springboks loose forward, Duane Vermeulen, is waiting for a decision from the South African Rugby Union (SARU) as he prepares to venture into coaching. Vermeulen has been linked to a coaching position since his retirement, and it appears that it will happen in the upcoming weeks.

Last year, he turned down an offer from the Bulls to stay in Cape Town, and recent reports suggest that he may join the Western Province (WP) and Stormers set-up. WP head of rugby, Dave Wessels, confirmed this information to respected South African newspaper, Rapport.
