Scott Robertson’s silence may be saying more than any press conference ever could.

Since being dismissed as All Blacks head coach midway through his four-year contract, Robertson has yet to publicly address his departure — a decision that has only fuelled speculation about what truly happened behind closed doors at New Zealand Rugby.

Despite a 74 per cent win rate, with 20 victories from 27 Tests, NZR opted to remove the 51-year-old after a turbulent two-year stretch marked by inconsistent performances and reported internal tensions. While chairman David Kirk firmly denied claims of a player revolt, Robertson himself has offered no counter-narrative.
