The most famous cut comes from the very first episode. In the original broadcast pilot, Leonard and Sheldon visit a “high-IQ sperm bank” to make a little cash, filling out donor forms before awkwardly bailing at the last minute.
Years later, creator Chuck Lorre pulled this scene from reruns and syndication, and Jim Parsons publicly backed the decision.
