New research from the University of Leeds has found that when fathers spend regular, quality time with their young children, it can have a lasting impact on their academic achievement.
The study, led by Dr. Helen Norman, looked at data from nearly 5,000 families in England whose children were born between 2000 and 2002.
The results were clear: kids whose fathers took part in these interactive moments performed better by the time they started school at age five.
