A Woman Called 911 to Report an Intruder — The Dispatcher Recognized Her Voice as the Intruder
On the night of October 19th, 2022, a woman in Portland, Oregon called 911 in a whisper. She said someone was in her house. She could hear them moving in the hallway outside her bedroom.
The dispatcher, a 12-year veteran named Carol Reyes, stayed on the line and sent a unit immediately.
Then she noticed something.
