Fans Aren’t Just Arguing About Marshals — A Lot of Them Are Arguing About How Hard It Is to Actually Watch

Not every TV controversy starts with the writing. Sometimes it starts with the app.

That is exactly what happened with Marshals. After the Luke Grimes-led series premiered on CBS, a noticeable chunk of the backlash had nothing to do with Kayce, Monica, or the story itself.

Instead, fans were frustrated that the show was not immediately available on-demand for all Paramount+ subscribers, with Country Living spotlighting comments like, “I’m not sure why we can’t stream it on Paramount+ if we have premium.
