If the royal family were a long-running TV drama, you could almost map out the roles:
Prince Andrew – disgraced uncle, written out after a scandal.
Prince Harry and Meghan – exiled younger son and “difficult” wife, pushed off to a spin-off series in California.
In the last few years, the House of Windsor has shown it can be ruthless. Andrew has been stripped of all royal titles, ordered out of his Windsor mansion and now goes by Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor after outrage over his ties to Jeffrey Epstein and a civil sexual assault lawsuit he settled in 2022.
