Season 13 of has been marked by some of the biggest roster shifts the show has seen in years. Several longtime members have exited or changed roles — meaning the coming seasons may feel very different.
Both Darren Ritter (actor Daniel Kyri) and Sam Carver (actor Jake Lockett) have been written out — reportedly as part of broader budget cuts.
The show’s longtime commander, Wallace Boden (actor Eamonn Walker), has stepped down from his role as Chief — he’s no longer a main cast member, though he does return for occasional appearances.
Meanwhile, the series has added fresh blood: new firefighters and paramedics have been cast, including Sal Vasquez, a new member joining Truck 81.
