Experienced actor Jared Harris believes that the Royal Family would appreciate Netflix's The Crown as it humanizes members of one of the world's most prestigious institutions. Speaking on the BBC's Today program, Harris stated that he felt the Royal Family would not take issue with the show, emphasizing that it actually humanizes them.

Harris, who portrayed King George VI in the first two seasons of The Crown, received a BAFTA nomination for his performance. 

He also discussed the intense scrutiny that came with being a part of such a high-profile show, acknowledging the interest shown by fashion magazines like Vogue.
